A Day with My Brother and My Friend

The sun shines brightly on the beach today. I visited the beach with my friends and brother. The sand feels warm and soft on the legs when we step on it. There's a colorful beach umbrella installed near the beach so we can stand and watch the ocean waves, not only that we also carry a stick to just put things down and sit there. Before playing on a beach that can be exposed to the heat of the sun we should apply sunscreen so that our skin does not get sunburned.

When I dig my feet into the sand, it feels like it's a lot of fine details of sand that stick to it. The wind blows a little and the sand swarms at my feet like a little wind whirlwind. The waves in the sea seemed to be approaching the shore and touching the sand palace they had built. My sister and her friends ran towards the waves laughing and the sea water kept their clothes wet.

On the other side of the beach, some adults are playing volleyball with excitement. The reflection of the volleyball sounded ashamed by the wave debris. Two boys kicking balls not far from our place. They run after the ball with joy. When the ball rolled towards me, I took it and threw it back on them.

I lay on a towel enjoying the warmth of the sunlight and listening to the sound of the sea waves. I breathed fresh beach air and smelled lotion. It feels peaceful and pleasant. It was a very fun day on the beach with my friends and sisters!

My brother and I built a sandy palace on the shore, a bit far from the reach of the sea. With a license we dug the sand and piled it, then shaped the towers and the walls of the palace. My sister even added some shells she found to the palace decoration. After almost half an hour, our sand castle was finished too.

"Come on, sister, our palace is so nice," said my sister cheerfully.

I knocked in and agreed, smiling proudly. But not long after we the work, suddenly a wave came and collapsed part of the walls of the sand palace.

"Well, crashed..." complained the brother disappointed.

"It's okay, we can fix it," my entertainment calmed.

Then we repaired the sand palace that was damaged by the waves. Having felt quite strong, we sat on the roof while enjoying the beautiful views of the beach and rested for a moment.S oon after, one of my friends came up to us. He's playing beach volleyball with the others. We enthusiastically accepted the invitation and soon joined them. This beach volleyball game is very exciting, even though the balls sometimes like to be blown by the wind or exposed to sand.

After being satisfied with playing volleyball, we decided to ride along the shore by chasing the rolling waves coming. Sometimes the waves manage to touch and make our clothes wet, but it just adds to the excitement of our game.

It was getting late when we decided to take a break. We sat around enjoying the sight of the sun beginning to bend to the west. The sea looks so beautiful with the reflection of the light of the sunset. The sight is really puzzling. "Wow, it's beautiful," one of my brother's friends knocked.

We all nodded in agreement. The day was getting darker, and we decided to pack up and get ready to go home. Even though I was a little disappointed that the day was late, we were all happy that we had a very enjoyable day on the beach. In our faces hanged a wide smile as our black car ran off the beach towards home.

It serves as an important resource for those seeking guidance in the often challenging decision-making process of choosing a major. This book goes beyond the typical career-focused approach found in other major decision-making handbooks. It takes a holistic perspective of what it means to be a creative writing major, encompassing mindset, community involvement, and transferable skills. This emphasizes the importance of a creative writing degree in the community, not just job prospects. Vanderslice points out that only a small percentage of creative writing graduates rely solely on creative writing as their main source of income. Therefore, he encourages flexibility and proactive program design to prepare students ...
